Roof Damage from Storm
This damage was caused by heavy wind and rain.
The first and foremost is safety. Our technicians are trained in the safe and proper use of ladders and power tools. They are also trained to mitigate fall hazards; use harnesses or toe boards on steep pitched roofs. We always are sure to make sure we know what type of surface we will be climbing on and walking on before getting on any roof. There are many has hazards, such tree limbs, moss, algae, leaves, or any wet surface. This is important when tarping a roof after a storm or at night. The goal when installing a tarp is to cause as little additional damage as possible. Based on the amount of damage, our technicians will need to determine if a large area will need to be tarped or if a patch can be installed.
As you can see from the pictures, this job required a tarp.
